MY STORY
A childhood traumatized by sexual, physical, and emotional abuse lead me down a path of looking for love in all the wrong places. As a young adult, pain, hurt, and heartache created a dungeon of darkness and despair that held my heart captive. Then God reached in and provided a way of escape through Christ Centered Counseling. This team of spirit-filled therapists provided an intensive recovery program at a psychiatric hospital that was safe and highly effective. As a volunteer program it required commitment to see it through to the end and the courage to turn over every rock, resurrect every skeleton, face myself in the mirror and work through the pain, hurt, hate, and fear that defined the woman I saw there. Thankfully, God was with me every step of the way.
This is where God taught me the importance of being HOT! The process was difficult to say the least, but at the end of six months, the outcome was forgiveness for myself and those who had wronged me, healing and restoration for my wounded heart, and last but not least, FREEDOM TO BE THE REAL ME!
Personal Life
I have been happily married for 33+ years to my best friend and soul mate. I have had the joy of raising three beautiful daughters as a stay-at-home mom, and I now have the awesome privilege of being a grandparent six times over. I love to cook, garden, and help my hubby with projects around the home. I am an avid pickleball player and help my husband run our pickleball paddle business PBZ Paddles. Professional Life
As a vocalist, God used my gift for singing to help lead worship at my church for 14 years and as a signed artist with the Independent Record label Incubator Creative Group for 7 years. As an author, God inspired the ownership and operation of Inspired By God greeting card company for 9 years, He also led me to write Preparing for His Purpose a One-on-One Discipleship for girls & young women, Drinking in the Deep a 52-week devotional series, and the recently published and newly released book, Finding True Love in a Prickly Pear World.
The Discipleship program and the Digital Recovery Series Unlocking the Present with the Keys from the Past were divinely inspired to assist others on their journey of spiritual growth, as a Life Coach.
As a speaker, God has given me a passion for the issues facing our culture that are affecting our families, our marriages, and most importantly our relationship with God and I look forward to the opportunity to share that passion with those He puts in my path.
